MetaFix™ I is an locking plate osteosynthesis system (according to Dr. Diedrich Haesen, Medical Director of foot an joint surgery, Clinic Fleetinsel, Hamburg/Germany) for the proximal opening- or closing-wedge osteotomy with hallux valgus deformity.
The MetaFix™ I Hallux Valgus Plate, made of titanium, is available for both the left and right foot in the lengths 26 mm to 32 mm. Four screws are required for the MetaFix Plate; these titanium screws have a diameter of 3.0 mm, and are available in the lengths of 12 mm to 32 mm.
The MetaFix I™ system is also available as a complete sterilization case.
