MetaFix® I PlateFor Hallux Valgus Repair with Opening and Closing Wedge Osteotomies
MetaFix® I is an locking plate osteosynthesis system (according to Dr. med. W. Diedrich Haesen, Medical Director of foot an joint surgery, Clinic Fleetinsel, Hamburg/Germany) for the proximal opening- or closing-wedge osteotomy with hallux valgus deformity. The MetaFix® I Hallux Valgus Plate, made of titanium, is available for both the left and right foot in the lengths 26 mm to 32 mm. Four screws are required for the MetaFix® I Plate; these titanium screws have a diameter of 3.0 mm or 3.5 mm, and are available in the lengths of 12 mm to 32 mm. The MetaFix® I system is also available as a complete sterilization case.
